Cyber: future direct competitor to Google

Internet browsing has become a necessity. Over the past few years, many browsers are introduced and improved in functionality and performance. In terms of usage, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, the foremost commonly used, has been overtaken by Google Chrome and is currently in second place. In third place is Mozilla Firefox, which has captured the eye of Internet users for its versatility and great add-ons. There also are other names like Safari and Opera within the top 5.

Chrome was first introduced in September 2008, quickly rose to the highest 3 and is now the browser of choice for several. But whether Chorme can hold this position when there are many new browsers with more user-friendly features. Today, i will be able to introduce to you such a browser — Cyber.

About Cyber

Cyber is a brand new protocol (a procedure that helps computers to do things in a certain way) for adding and searching information onto a knowledge graph (a compilation of facts about something that provides meaning to the user). And rank this information. In other words, it’s a decentralized google.”

Have you heard the hype about privacy in Google and therefore the amount of knowledge Google shares with advertisers? Imagine you’re using this browser then Google will know all of your information from the time you open Chrome until you shut it. it’s clear that Google uses users’ search history and bookmarks for his or her ads. But Cyber doesn’t roll in the hay that way because the protocol exists because of technology like blockchain and is geared towards decentralization. A web in which you control your own dataset. A web that is free of censorship. A web where the internet works for you and not the other way around.

The question arises when we have so many browsers looking, but why Cyber is your number one choice? The answer is simple, since Cyber’s goal is to create a global search engine to:

  • Build an open semantic field of the internet with the help of blockchain technology and networking.
  • Provide more resistance to web services through the decentralization of its infrastructure.

How does Cyber work?

Cyber is a new protocol for adding and finding information on knowledge graphs. Users create links between two IPFS (the first protocol that creates addresses based on content, allows the network to build network links on it and changes the way cyber looks for information) hashes: where one hash points to the keyword that makes the content searchable and the second hash points to the content itself. And place them on a knowledge graph by spending bandwidth. The searched content is then ranked with the help of digital tokens and other parameters of the load network. All of this is calculated (determined with the help of a computer) by validators (a program or computer responsible for checking the validity of something). Validators do so, using their GPU (literally — graphics cards). This allows for web searching, ranking, querying (lookup) and creating knowledge database without the need for black box intermediaries (third parties trying to censor the data, hide, or push specific results for getting money, tracking your data, etc).

Token

There are 2 tokens.

CYB Tokens: the token of our network, which has 3 primary uses: staking (securing the network and receiving rewards), bandwidth limiting for submitting links (energy), and expression of intentions for indexing and ranking the content.

Initial supply: 1,000,000,000,000,000:

  • cyber~Congress: 6% of CYB
  • cyber~FundClassic: 3% of CYB (a fund to help growing the ecosytem)
  • Seed donors: 4% of CYB
  • Inventors of the protocol: 2% of CYB
  • Gift allocated to over 1 million addresses: 10% of CYB
  • Other public allocation: 75% of CYB
  • These groups get THC tokens and can vest them to receive CYB

THC tokens: an Ethereum ERC-20 compatible token has utility value in the form of control over cyber~Foundation (an Aragon DAO) and the ETH from the auction proceeds.

  • 20% cyber~Congress team + inventors + seed donors + development fund (which IF vested gain the max. above CYB allocation)
  • 80% Public allocation

Conclusion

I see Cyber as a project with special ideas and goals with the rest. Towards uncensored and decentralized in searching information on cyberspace. Sure Cyber takes more time to perfect, but with a team of experienced, knowledgeable, knowledgeable, passionate and supportive from the community, I think Cyber will succeed. and become the number one search engine.
